This Sure Cool Upgrade Kit works on cooler relief bores that have an I.D. of .315'. This kit limits cooler pressure to 70-75 PSI down form O.E. 105-115 PSI and even higher in the non-valve systems. Preventing cooler blowout one of the most common problem with these transmissions which leads to transmission destruction. Works on all RE5R05A valve bodies with or without an existing valve in the cooler relief valve bore.
